Park Director Joseph Tart updated the Chisago County Park Board on Swedish Immigrant Regional Trail Segment D, saying MnDOT will review WSB's revisions along the Highway 8 section and WSB will provide updated documents for final review. Tart said submittals to WSB are due by May 1, and the Budget and Finance Committee will review the purchase of wetland credits at their May meeting.
Tart told the board that the County Board of Commissioners will review project plans, bid documents, the Construction Services Contract and wetland purchases at its May meeting, with a plan to advertise for bids at the end of May. "Construction on this segment is anticipated to start in late July 2026," the director said. The board did not take action beyond accepting the update.
