Traill County WRD schedules culvert deliveries, authorizes repairs and a culvert purchase

The Traill County Water Resource District received updates April 7 that culvert materials for Murray Drain No. 17 Bridge Nos. 223, 292 and 304 are expected to be delivered by month-end; Moore Engineering will coordinate delivery and installation with the Traill County Highway Department. The Board also learned that some culverts at Hatton Drain No. 45 sustained damage and will be repaired in 2026 by Naastad Bros. Inc.
Board engineer Nathan Trosen reported the trash rack for the Miller Drain No. 29 upper outlet structure has been delivered and installed. The Board agreed to authorize purchase of a 24-inch x 60-foot culvert and band for Section 24 in Mayville Township; the district will order the culvert from TrueNorth Steel and John/Peter Bakkum will pick up and install the culvert. Moore Engineering will coordinate the Murray Drain installations with county highway staff.
