Board approves policy revisions, SRO agreement and multiple vendor contracts for 2026–27
Summary

The board approved revisions to Board Policy 203 to allow board members to receive district compensation for goods, services, or temporary employment so long as the benefit does not exceed $20,000 per fiscal year or the contract is awarded through public competitive bidding. The motion carried 4-0.
During new business the board also approved the 2026–27 School Resource Officer agreement, a CAPS agreement for the use of facilities at Readlyn Telephone Company, updated language for a long list of board policies, and a series of vendor/service approvals including Walvatne Floor Covering for Rural 2 flooring ($11,516.68), Trueg sidewalk quote for the softball/baseball complex ($11,720), the 26–27 service agreement with Hawkeye Community College, and an amendment to Doese Photography’s contract to remove sport/activity services effective the 2026–27 school year. All motions were recorded as carried 4-0.
