The Comanche County Board of Commissioners approved its consent agenda Feb. 23, which covered equipment disposals, encumbrances, transfers, appointments and claims. The consent items approved included an encumbrance from the Opioid Abatement Settlement Fund of $5,000 to the Center for Economic Development Law and encumbrances of $5,000 from County Use Tax Fund to Cabelka Law PLLC and to Court Related Services LLC for services in March 2026.
The clerk also presented a notarized Oklahoma Tax Commission claim form (Form 969) for Comanche County's claim against the Ad Valorem Reimbursement Fund pursuant to 62 O.S., Section 193, for loss of revenue to the county and school districts due to exempt manufacturing for year 2025. The amount of the claim was listed as $3,515,747.00. The board approved appointments of requisitioning and receiving officers for Hulen VFD and other consent items.
