At the close of the March 24 meeting, Commissioner Rod Cleveland briefly addressed the prior week's meeting, calling it "emotionally intense," and expressed appreciation for Deputy Anthony Loomis and Undersheriff Mike Finley for helping diffuse tension. Cleveland said the board remains committed to serving and advancing the interests of all Cleveland County residents and thanked those who signed up to speak for their respectful presentation of views.
Shortly after, Vice-Chairman Jacob McHughes moved, seconded by Rusty Grissom, to strike Items K and L—two proposed executive-session entries under 25 O.S. §307(B)(4)—from the agenda. The motion passed unanimously, and the board adjourned at 1:08 P.M.
