Duininck plans tile replacement; Nobles County approves easement and $10,000 security deposit

Duininck Inc. informed county drainage staff that it intends to replace the county’s 12-inch tile on its property with 12" HDPE dual-wall pipe and use the surface above the tile for a stockpile area, taking precautions to protect the tile. The board determined that a petition to reroute was not required under the company’s proposed plans.
The board approved new tile placement, a maintenance agreement, an 80-foot total easement/right-of-entry and a $10,000 security deposit to protect county infrastructure. The motion was moved by Justin Ahlers and seconded by Bob Paplow. The county consulted the City of Worthington engineer regarding pond discharge design before Duininck revised the plan to replace the tile.
