Residents tell council the Circle K crosswalk is dangerous after a child was struck

Mayor Johann Wallace later said the crosswalk has been getting a lot of attention from local media and that a meeting with the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) is expected next week to discuss solutions. The remarks were made during the open call to the public; no formal motion to alter the crosswalk was made at the meeting date.
