The Comanche County Facilities Authority approved a detailed list of detention-center claims and purchase orders as part of its Feb. 17 meeting. The claims list included a $130,850 payment to Washita County Jail for inmate housing; a $18,900 building-maintenance invoice to Goldberg Group; fuel, janitorial and medical-supply charges; and payroll-related disbursements such as EGID ($50,999.36) and OPERS ($24,665.28).
The motion to approve claims and purchase orders was made by Josh Powers and seconded by Ryan John; the board voted unanimously to approve the items recorded in the minutes. The approved list also contained smaller vendor payments for elevator maintenance, copier lease, and inmate hygiene supplies.
