Detention center reports 201 inmates; 10 transferred to DOC this week

David Weber, Jail Administrator, told the Comanche County Facilities Authority Feb. 17 that "as of February 13, 2026 the detention center had a count of 201 inmates," including 157 males and 44 females. Weber said 10 inmates were identified as ready to transfer to the Oklahoma Department of Corrections and that 10 inmates were transferred to DOC during the week prior to the meeting.
Weber also provided a combined total reflecting inmates housed both at the Comanche County Detention Center and in other counties: 227 inmates at CCDC and 111 inmates in other counties for a combined total of 338. The figures were presented as operational reporting; no policy action or change to housing strategy was recorded during the meeting.
