The Comanche County Facilities Authority met Feb. 17, 2026, approved the acceptance of minutes from its Feb. 9 meeting and voted to pay a set of claims and purchase orders, the board recorded. Chair Johnny Owens presided; Ryan John moved to accept the minutes and Josh Powers seconded. The motion carried with John, Powers and Owens voting aye.
Jail Administrator David Weber reported that "as of February 13, 2026 the detention center had a count of 201 inmates," comprised of 157 males and 44 females; Weber said 10 inmates were ready for transfer to the Oklahoma Department of Corrections and that 10 inmates were transferred to DOC this week. Mina Daniels, substituting for Emergency Management Director Clint Langford, presented activity tallies including 105 EMR responses and 64 controlled burns.
The board approved detention-center and emergency-management claims and purchase orders, including a $130,850 payment to Washita County Jail for inmate housing and payroll-related disbursements to EGID ($50,999.36) and OPERS ($24,665.28). With no further business, the authority adjourned.
