Commissioner Randy Asay moved and Commissioner Matt Tippets seconded a motion to approve Engineering Agreement Modification #2 for the Manila Airport ILA Project, increasing the contract by $11,420.08 for continued ILA work. The motion carried with Commissioners Tippets and Asay voting yes and Commissioner Jack Lytle recorded as absent.
Bret Reynolds reported that airport lighting work is advancing toward nighttime certification and that a document from Blackcat was with County Attorney Kent Snider for signature. "This document should be going to Attorney Snider next and is waiting for his signature," Reynolds said, and commissioners noted an advertisement for the associated bid process has been issued with bids due April 7.
The amendment covers additional engineering work to complete certification tasks and keep the ILA project schedule on track. Commissioners did not request further changes and approved the modification at the meeting. The item returns the signed amendment and any successful bid awards to staff for implementation and follow-up.
