Floyd County supervisors reviewed salary-comparison data for elected and key officials during the Feb. 24 meeting. The board reached a consensus on proposed percentage increases: 2.9% for the Auditor, Treasurer and Recorder; 6.5% for the County Attorney and Sheriff; and 2.5% for the Board of Supervisors, with formal adoption to be acted on in a later proceeding.
Board members said the increases reflect comparisons presented to the board and will be considered during the FY27 budget process before any formal salary ordinances or resolutions are adopted.
