The Board of County Commissioners voted Nov. 3 to authorize an amendment to the ARPA subrecipient agreement with Clermont Housing Corporation for the Veterans Village Project. The amendment modifies Exhibit C to change the project's location because the original jurisdiction's zoning authorities refused to allow the original plan; the amendment also adjusts design standards to comply with the new site's zoning.
Commissioner Bonnie J. Batchler and Desmond Maaytah provided an update on the proposed new location in Monroe Township and project next steps. The Board approved the amendment by roll call (Corcoran, Batchler, Painter — Yes). No additional county funding changes were adopted at the meeting; existing terms remain in effect except as amended.
