The Clermont County Board of Commissioners executed a participation agreement with the County Commissioners Association of Ohio County Risk Sharing Authority (CCAO CORSA) to purchase liability and property insurance for the county.
The agreement was presented by Arthur J. Gallagher representative Kevin Fink and authorizes coverage for property, equipment breakdown, third-party liability and employee dishonesty for the CORSA program year. The Board authorized the county to purchase coverage for the term shown in the agreement (12/31/2025 through 05/01/2027) with an annual premium not to exceed $1,067,000, and delegated signature authority to the county administrator or the director of the Office of Management and Budget. The vote to execute the agreement was recorded as: Commissioner Batchler, Yes; Commissioner Corcoran, Yes; Commissioner Painter, Abstain.
County officials said the Gallagher presentation summarized coverages and recommended the CORSA program based on the exhibit of coverages included with the proposal. No changes to premium term rates were approved for the May 1, 2026 to May 1, 2027 program year.
