Clermont County officials report rising food pantry need, highlight SNAP assistance and community programs

The Board of County Commissioners heard staff updates on local food assistance and community programs during its Nov. 3, 2025 regular session. Dorothy Meier, Director of Clermont County Job and Family Services, said the county is coordinating resources after the state announcement of up to $25 million in food assistance and pointed residents to county web resources for help.
Paige Sheridan and IPM pantry representatives said need at the food pantry has increased, citing requests for volunteers and donations; Ursula Miller, communications coordinator, highlighted the America 250 School Art Project and noted, “The Veterans Day Parade is scheduled for November 9, 2025.” County officials urged residents to contact 211 or county offices for assistance and described ongoing local collaborations and food drives.
