Samantha Wilson, Veterans Services Agency Director, told the Human Services Committee that agency performance data “reflects strong performance” and that she is very pleased with current operations and staff work.
The committee approved an authorization to amend the 2026 County budget to cover training, seminars, and schools for the Veterans Services Agency, with the vote recorded as 4-0. Members also approved a motion to reissue a request for proposals to implement the PFC Joseph P. Dwyer Veteran Support Program; that transmittal was approved 4-0 as well.
The approvals mean staff may proceed with the reissued procurement and the revised training budget. The committee did not record individual roll-call votes in the minutes; only the 4-0 tallies were included. The meeting packet lists these items under the Veterans Services transmittals for Feb. 2, 2026.
