The committee approved re-appropriation of Myers Twig and Northeast Wayne training funds in the 2026 budget and authorized advertising for bids for construction of three final communications towers — Palmyra, Clyde and Savannah — with Mr. Lee saying he will return to the Committee with a resolution to award the bid after review. The minutes note the County has used SIC funding to support prior tower projects and Mr. Lee expressed hope that sufficient SIC funds will be available to cover these towers.
