Mayor Ryan Cheney presented RESOLUTION 2025-11.5 to remove the current members of the Board of Adjustment so the City Council may preside as the Board. The council approved the resolution after a motion by Councilmember Dan Zieg and a second by Jesse Schmidt; the roll call vote was recorded as Yes from Zieg, Schmidt, Simmons and Buck.
The council then adopted Board of Adjustment bylaws that will apply when the council acts in that role. The minutes record unanimous approval (Schmidt moved; Simmons seconded; roll call Yes: Schmidt, Simmons, Zieg, Buck). The action replaces the previous appointed board membership; the council did not record additional procedural steps in these minutes about transitions or reappointments.
