Massanutten Regional Library reports record check-outs, wins state recognition

Zachary Elder, Director of the Massanutten Regional Library, presented the library's 2025 annual report to the Page County Board on April 6, 2026, reporting more than 890,000 check-outs—the highest annual total in the library's history.
Elder also noted the library was recognized as the Virginia Library Association's 2025 Library of the Year (chosen from 95 libraries across the Commonwealth) and was named Nonprofit of the Year by the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Chamber of Commerce. The Board received the report; no action was recorded.
