Mayor Keith Harra called for nominations for Budget Committee president; Tess Baker volunteered and was nominated by Harra, with Stu Burgess seconding. The committee voted to elect Baker, and the motion carried.
Baker then led the committee through a line‑by‑line review of the proposed budget, during which members identified clerical corrections and asked questions about specific funds. Committee members approved major fund balances and several motions to adopt individual fund budgets. The committee also set a Budget Hearing for June 1, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. and the regular City Council meeting for June 1 at 6:30 p.m., both at Paisley City Hall.
