During the Feb. 17 meeting the board considered two bids for a replacement boiler at the Old Village Hall building: one bid for $116,000 and another for $59,000. President Spilde expressed concern that the building's existing equipment might be too old to support a new boiler and recommended obtaining quotes for installing a furnace as an alternative to purchasing a new boiler.
Shawn Nyhus and President Spilde reported the bid amounts and advised the board to seek additional quotes and options; the board did not award a contract at the meeting and left the item open for further evaluation.
