Electoral Board holds closed session on election security, signs state cybersecurity form

After returning to open session at 10:30 AM, the board unanimously affirmed there had been no discussion of matters outside the cited statutory authority. The board also signed the Locality Election Security Standards (LESS) form for filing with the Virginia Department of Elections; the minutes record the LESS signature as the formal compliance action taken at the meeting. The board relied on county IT and vendor updates and recorded no additional actions in open session.
