The Salem Township Board of Supervisors at its Jan. 6 organizational meeting reappointed Supervisor Bob Zundel as chairman, named Supervisor Ken Trumbetta vice‑chairman and confirmed Kelly Otto as Secretary‑Treasurer for 2025. The board set its regular 2025 meeting dates for monthly Wednesdays at 7 p.m. at the Salem Township Municipal Building and designated First Commonwealth Bank, PNC, S&T Bank, Commercial National Bank and Citizens Bank as township depositories.
The board approved Resolution 02‑2025 to formalize the depository designations and set the calendar of meetings, and approved attendance and reimbursement for supervisors and the secretary to attend the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors annual convention in Hershey, May 4–7, 2025. The board also designated the Delmont Salem News as the primary legal advertising source and The Tribune‑Review as secondary.
The meeting included routine administrative confirmations across boards and committees, including appointments to the Planning Commission and the UCC Appeals Board. Supervisors voted unanimously on these organizational items.
