Board amends vehicle purchase authority to $3.61M; fleet director says auction planned for spring

Wayne Prescott, Fleet Director, provided brief comment during the discussion, noting that "the auction will be this spring." The resolution (No. 157-25) authorizes vehicle procurement for county departments and officials under the applicable sections of the Ohio Revised Code and updates the county's estimated outlay for Calendar Year 2025.
The Board voted to adopt the amendment by roll call (Commissioner Batchler Yes; Commissioner Corcoran Yes; Commissioner Painter Yes). County staff will proceed with procurement planning consistent with the revised estimate and prepare surplus vehicles for the planned auction.
