The Clermont County Board of County Commissioners voted Oct. 8 to accept 2026 rate renewals for employee medical and prescription plans administered by the County Employee Benefits Consortium (CEBCO) and to approve MetLife dental rate renewals.
The Board authorized the CEBCO 2026 Rate Renewal Acceptance for continuation of medical and prescription drug plans effective Jan. 1, 2026. The roll call on the CEBCO action was recorded as: “Commissioner Batchler, Yes; Commissioner Corcoran, Yes; Commissioner Painter, Abstain.” The MetLife dental renewal likewise passed with Commissioners Batchler and Corcoran voting yes and Commissioner Painter abstaining.
County records show the actions were taken pursuant to prior contract approvals for the 2026 Employee Health Benefits Plan. The Board’s motions authorize county officers (including the Vice-President) to execute the applicable renewal documents and to continue claims payments and stop-loss arrangements under the existing CEBCO framework. The clerk recorded Painter’s abstentions on both items.
