County staff in attendance included Tony Triplett, County Attorney; John Yates, County Manager; Zachary Lovette, Interim Finance Director; and Sarah D. Call, Clerk to the Board.
Commissioner Bill Sexton led the invocation. The meeting record shows routine procedural business preceded a motion to enter closed session under North Carolina General Statutes. The minutes indicate the meeting was later adjourned at 7:30 P.M. and the minutes were approved on July 2, 2026.
