The Bennet City Council approved its consent agenda on Feb. 9, 2026, including minutes from the Jan. 19 meeting, claims for payment and the treasurer's report. Simmons moved and Zieg seconded the motion; the roll-call vote was unanimous (Buck, Schmidt, Simmons, Zieg).
Mayor Ryan Cheney signed the revised United States Postal Service lease that had been presented and approved by Resolution 2026-1.2 at the Jan. 19 meeting; the lease was revised to an initial five-year period. The council noted the revision as part of the consent items and moved on to other agenda business.
