Council approves Quincy right‑of‑way project; new plat and owner signoffs required

Mayor Ryan Cheney introduced the Quincy right‑of‑way project and City Attorney David Solheim recommended that a new plat be created to reflect the lot changes and that all property owners sign the plat to indicate agreement. Solheim said confirmation from Lancaster County will be needed before the changes are finalized.
The council approved the project on a motion by Pete Simmons with Jesse Schmidt seconding. Councilmember Josh Buck recorded an abstention noting a conflict of interest; the roll call vote otherwise recorded YES from Schmidt, Simmons and Zieg and the motion carried.
