Housing Authority says RAD closing is on track; construction expected in March

Secretary Kaitlin Leary told the Housing Authority board that closing for the RAD conversion is "on track for next week," and that the authority will retain its PHA program status rather than terminating it.
Leary said the PHA status is likely to remain in effect for about two years and could make HACA eligible for additional funds. She said a Notice to Proceed with construction will be issued immediately after closing and that construction is likely to begin in March; color options for flooring, counters and cabinets were on display at the meeting.
