Parks director seeks travel softball practice use of Charlotte Yeoman fields; CEO signals standard concessions bid process

CEO Bill Everett raised the related question of how concessions should be managed and said his recommendation is to continue the county's usual public bidding process. "As of right now ... my viewpoint is to go through the same bidding process as we've done for twenty years," Everett said, noting he expects the solicitation to be issued soon. He advised the commission to express any alternative strategy prior to issuance because the competitive process will move forward quickly.
