Ahlstrom noted that chinking around the cabin needs repair because weather is damaging interior artifacts, and that several contractors had declined the work because of its difficulty. Councilmembers discussed possible next steps including contacting local builders and exploring support from the State Historical Preservation Society or other preservation partners.
