Council hears town department updates: QR code maintenance reporting, sauna, newsletter and event notes

Councilmembers provided several brief department and community updates. Councilmember Bruce Ahlstrom introduced a new Maintenance QR Code residents can use to report repairs around town; Sandy Hunter said the town newsletter will be issued Dec. 1 and reported that the sauna has been installed and that work to make the area attractive has been completed. Powell and Ahlstrom noted the park bathrooms were winterized for the festival and that next year's event will require improved coordination on restrooms and water services.
Council also discussed the green-waste facility schedule and an inquiry from a property owner about a boundary-line adjustment on McKay Meadows; members urged coordination with county and state partners as needed. No formal action was taken on these items beyond direction to staff to continue coordination and outreach.
