New commissioner Will Rose joins Astoria Historic Landmarks Commission

Commissioners introduced and welcomed Will Rose as a newly appointed member of the Historic Landmarks Commission. Rose said he and his wife moved to Astoria in 2015 and that he restored an 1890s house that had been vacant for five years after retiring from a 40-year construction career.
Rose said he has attended meetings previously and intends to contribute his restoration and construction experience to commission work. President Burns and other commissioners welcomed him to the commission.
