The Stevenson-Carson School District board approved a broad package of policy updates at its Nov. 14 meeting.
The board approved first readings for policies numbered 4001, 4040, 4060, 4130, 4200, 4210, 4218, 4311, 5001, 5005, 5010, 5011, 5050, 5271, 5280, 5310, 5515 and 5610. The board also approved second readings and adopted policies 1220, 4100, 1410, 1420, 1440, 1611, 1815, 1825, 2004, 2022, 2090, 2190 and 2230.
Superintendent Ingrid Colvard read a statement from the district’s attorney addressing policy 4311, which deals with law-enforcement interviews on campus. In a separate action the board voted to suspend policy 5521.
Motions and seconds were recorded for each approval and the minutes indicate each motion carried.
