The Stevenson-Carson School District Board of Directors on Nov. 14 accepted the resignation of Vice Chair Jon Paul Anderson.
Lisa Birney moved to approve the resignation; Mark Chambers seconded and the motion carried. Chair Jeff Wickersham and Superintendent Ingrid Colvard publicly thanked Anderson for his service; Colvard noted she had learned from watching how he conducted himself and thanked him for hiring her.
The board did not fill the vacancy at the meeting. The agenda also included student representative interviews, which were postponed because two of three candidates were not present; the board tabled the student representative appointment until the Dec. 12 meeting.
