Jeff Wickersham re-elected chair; Mitch Engel named vice chair

The Stevenson-Carson School District Board of Directors re-elected Jeff Wickersham as board chair at its Dec. 12 meeting. The motion to nominate Wickersham, put forward by Lisa Birney and seconded by Mark Chambers, carried on a roll-call vote by board members Mark Chambers, Lisa Birney and Mitch Engel.
Wickersham then nominated Mitch Engel for vice chair; Engel accepted the nomination and the board voted to confirm him. The board also selected Mark Chambers as its legislative representative. Lisa Birney will continue as the district’s WIAA representative. Chair Wickersham told the board he wanted to remove a small-works roster item from the agenda after consultation with the district attorney and to correct the time listed for a future meeting.
