No public speakers as Winona County Board of Adjustment opens and closes hearing on variance

On May 21, 2026 the Winona County Board of Adjustment opened the public hearing for Docket BOA 05-21-26-01 on a motion by Amy Cordry, seconded by Lynn Redig. Chair Jordan Potter asked three times for public comment; no members of the public responded. The Board then closed the public hearing on the same motions and proceeded to deliberate and vote.
The absence of public comment was recorded in the minutes prior to the Board’s approval of the variance 5-0. The record shows township support in a written acknowledgement, but no in-person public testimony either for or against the request was offered at the hearing.
