Board: runoff at Crystal Lake pavilion traced to new uphill homes; HOA to investigate

Director Ephram Glass reported that, after inspecting flooding at the Crystal Lake pavilion, he and EDI determined the water was runoff from new houses uphill that appears to improperly divert water toward the park instead of into the detention pond. Glass said he provided this information to the Arrowhead Shores HOA manager and the Board discussed that drainage responsibility lies with the HOA.
The Board assigned Director Ron Bendall to check in periodically with the HOA manager as the Arrowhead Shores HOA researches how those homes were supposed to drain runoff. The minutes record the Board’s view that the HOA is responsible for correcting the drainage issue; no formal board-funded remediation was approved at the meeting.
