Selectboard: $200,000 grant lines up South Road culvert replacement; Access Road paving to finish this month

Trevor Dryden updated the board on several road projects: winter sand delivery is underway, snowplowing lines have been repaired, and some aprons on town roads still require finishing. He said Hunter Excavating plans to replace the culvert on South Road soon and the Town Administrator has secured a $200,000 grant for that project; the work will require a short-term road closure.
Dryden said Access Road paving should be mostly complete by the end of September and that guardrails on the upper portion of Access Road must be replaced to meet code; he noted Stratton Corp. is the responsible party for the guardrail work and Chair Coleman will contact Pat Moyna as a reminder. The board instructed Dryden to obtain a quote to replace the information sign at the entrance to Winhall Hollow Road.
