Conservation district sold 15,400 trees in spring sale; workshop and plant sale scheduled

Wolf said the CCD concluded its spring tree sale with "over 15,400 trees sold to county residents." He announced a Consulting Forester Workshop scheduled for June 11, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the St. Johns City Park pavilion (sign-ups to be posted next week), a virtual update on the Glass River planned for May 7, and a native-plant sale on Sept. 22 with informational flyers to be distributed in July.
The updates were delivered during the public-comment portion of the commission meeting and were presented for information; no commission action was taken on the CCD items.
