Commission recommends Spalding DeDecker to lead Phase 1 of Clinton Trails County Park

The Parks and Greenspace Commission on May 1 recommended Spalding DeDecker to lead Phase 1 development of Clinton Trails County Park.
Parks and Greenspace Coordinator Kyle Thornton told the commission the RFP process drew 15 intents to bid and 12 formal proposals; the review committee interviewed two firms and is recommending Spalding DeDecker as the prime professional for Phase 1 development. Coordinator Thornton said, "the RFP review committee is recommending that the Parks and Green Space Department partners with Spalding DeDecker as the prime professional for Phase 1 development of Clinton Trails County Park."
Pat Jackson moved to recommend Spalding DeDecker to the Ways and Means Committee; Melany Mack seconded and the motion carried. The commission record does not include a roll-call tally. The recommendation now proceeds to the Ways and Means Committee for formal selection and contract authorization.
