The Mercer County Board of Commissioners convened June 4 and approved the May 21, 2026 meeting minutes and several proclamations recognizing local tourism award winners and centenarian Glen Fellnagle.
Commissioner Finley moved to approve the minutes and the proclamations; Dr. Coleman seconded, and both votes were recorded in favor. The board passed Resolution #2026-214 accepting the minutes and Resolutions #2026-215 through #2026-217 recognizing Doug Smith (NorthStar Marina and Dock Side Cellars), Coolspring Ranch, and Glen Fellnagle, respectively. Commissioner Coleman noted that Fellnagle is a World War II veteran, a retired teacher and a woodworker and that commissioners plan to attend his 100th birthday celebration.
The meeting also included approval of a batch of vendor agreements and contracts across county departments, which are described in detail in separate items on the agenda.
