County to seek up to $250,000 in Justice Assistance Grant funding for technology and victim-safety improvements

Resolution 2026-213 authorizes submission of a Justice Assistance Grant application (JAG), not to exceed $250,000, to the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD). Office Manager Becky Bruno said the funding focus will be technology improvements aimed at victim safety and will emphasize the District Attorney’s Office, the Sheriff’s Office, Juvenile Probation, and the City of Hermitage.
The application will be submitted electronically and coordinated by the District Attorney’s Office, the Criminal Justice Advisory Board (CJAB), and Delta Development Group, Inc. The board voted unanimously to approve the grant submission authorization.
