County adopts 'Moving Forward Mercer County' comprehensive plan; approves CDBG reallocations

The Mercer County Board of Commissioners adopted the Moving Forward Mercer County Comprehensive Plan (Resolution 2026-202) pursuant to the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code. Commissioners applauded Executive Director Doniele Russell and her staff for completing the new countywide plan and thanked them for their leadership.
The board also approved revisions to Mercer County's CDBG FFY2025 contracts (Resolution 2026-203), reallocating $71,361 from Grove City's Woodland Project to its College and Elm Project and approving $7,204.54 reallocated within Sharpsville projects to cover a change order; Doniele Russell said the Grove City project is ready for construction and Sharpsville's work is substantially complete.
