The Mercer County commissioners approved revisions to multiple Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) contracts covering federal fiscal years 2022 through 2024. Under the revisions, the Grove City Council agreed to reallocate cost savings from the Edgewood Project to the College and Elm Project for all three fiscal years. Greenville Borough requested that $35,000 in Code Enforcement funds for FFY 2023 and FFY 2024 be moved to their respective Housing Rehabilitation line items.
Director Doniele Russell told the board each local council had approved the revisions before coming to the county. The resolutions were approved unanimously. The meeting record does not list revised contract documents or timelines; county and municipal staff will carry out the reallocations under existing CDBG program rules.
