The Selectboard said it had received a retail cannabis application submitted to the State of Vermont by Jessica Crandall for property at #98 VT Route 30. Town staff reported there has been no movement to comply with an existing Conditional Use Permit issued by the Zoning Board of Adjustment.
Bill Schwartz moved, and Julie Isaacs seconded, to authorize the Town Administrator to respond to the State regarding the application; the motion passed unanimously. The minutes record the board acting in its capacity to note correspondence to the Cannabis Control Board and to direct staff to engage as authorized.
The Selectboard did not take final action on the substance of the zoning or permit compliance at this meeting; the Town Administrator's response was authorized as a procedural step.
