At the Dec. 4 meeting Julie Isaacs proposed using $100,000 of ARPA funds for feasibility studies to identify potential locations for affordable housing. After discussion the Selectboard agreed to add $50,000 to the housing budget line and to allocate the town’s current $218,000 in ARPA funds for upgrades to the Town Hall.
The motion to make those allocations was moved by Bill Schwartz and seconded by Stuart Coleman; the board recorded the motion as passed with Isaacs abstaining from the final vote. Isaacs said she will collect more information about what a feasibility study would include before the board takes further steps.
