Selectboard adopts accounting and political sign policies, approves minutes and warrants

The Selectboard unanimously adopted an Accounting, Auditing and Financial Reporting Policy and the town Political Campaign Sign Policy, approved the July 17, 2024 minutes, and approved the warrant dated Aug. 7, 2024; the meeting adjourned at 7:30 PM.
The Selectboard adopted a new "Accounting, Auditing, and Financial Reporting Policy" intended to maintain high standards for municipal accounting, budgeting and reporting. William Schwartz moved to adopt and sign the policy; Julie Isaacs seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
After review the board also adopted and signed the Town of Winhall Political Campaign Sign Policy, approved the minutes of July 17, 2024, and approved the Aug. 7, 2024 warrant. The meeting was adjourned at 7:30 PM on a motion by William Schwartz seconded by Julie Isaacs.
