Commissioners approve $7,802.71 budget adjustment for JP 3 furniture

Staff said the court-authorized $4,000 allowance for JP 3 furniture during the budget process, and provided two quotes: one for $4,474.93 covering two positions and another for the remaining furnishings. "So they have submitted a budget adjustment to the auditor's office ... and we're gonna cover the remaining furniture for a total of $7,802.71," the staff member said.
Staff asked the court to authorize the auditor to process an override on the budget adjustment so purchases can proceed; the court approved the request on a motion by Commissioner Walden, seconded by Commissioner Holt, and the motion carried 5–0. Staff said the adjustment will also go through court on the 22nd.
