Rogers County proclaims April Fair Housing and Child Abuse Prevention months; approves Farmers' Market MOU and commemorative Route 66 bench

The Rogers County Board adopted Resolution 2026-186 proclaiming April as Fair Housing Month and approved a separate proclamation declaring April 2026 as National Child Abuse Prevention Month; both items were presented by Chairman Ron Burrows and approved by unanimous roll call.
The board also approved a Memorandum of Understanding with the Rogers County Farmers' Market and authorized placement of a commemorative bench outside the courthouse recognizing the original name of Route 66 as the Will Rogers Highway. All items were approved on unanimous votes recorded in the minutes.
